Reaction: Marching cubes: A high resolution 3D surface construction algorithm

        This paper seems to do a good job at describing the marching cube algorithm, but not much beyond that. It does not present much information that would be useful to the majority of the class, but only to those trying to generate a 3d volume out of 2d information. I would be interested in learning about similar algorithms that have been developed since 1987.
        The author does a fairly good job of convincing the reader to at least investigate the algorithm more, although due to the age of the paper, a modern reader would expect to find a better, newer algorithm has been discovered.
