Reaction: Task Taxonomy for Graph Visualization

The tax taxonomy defined by the author serves the purpose of analyzing a graph visualization based on elementary tasks. The tasks defined by the author can be used to measure various graph visualizations and analyse various perspectives of the graph in terms of low level tasks. The use of graph specific objects as a base for defining low level tasks helps in defining a better measure. The author just defined the taxonomy and more clearer explanation of the taxonomy using a full fledged example instead of a task by task example would have helped in realizing a more practical use of the given taxonomy.
The graph task taxonomy given by the author may be more lower level because this needs a combination of these graph tasks and some higher level tasks to benchmark the graph visualizations and so defining a  more specific taxonomy with these combinations would help in analyzing particular categories. The taxonomy defined by the user can be used to analyze nearly all types of tasks and is very helpful to benchmark results.
