Viz: Browser Statistics

This is built using Axiis Framework which uses Adobe Flex. Historical Browser statistics visualizes the market share of the browsers from January 2002 to August 2009.

It presents data in concentric circles. The inner most circles represent Jan 2002, as we move away from the center time increases. Circles are present for each alternate month for the years 2002- 2009. Different Browsers are represented with different colors. For Eg dark blue represents IE5, blue one is IE6 and light blue color represents IE7. For a particular circle the arc length for each browser gives the market share of that browser in that particular year.

From The Visualization we can understand that market share of IE5 reduced to 0.5% in June 2008. In August 2009 Firefox had 47% of the market share and the next highest one was IE7.
