Reaction: Jigsaw: Supporting Investigative Analysis through Interactive Visualization

The paper presents "Jigsaw" which can be thought of a tool the helps visualizing connections between entities. The paper proved to be an very interesting read because I could relate the uses and challenges portrayed in the paper to help solve crime (reference to the series "castle"!). Jigsaw also presents multiple views that give different perspective onto the data. This looks extremely useful because we can always visualize data using either a graph or a semantic view, but if you want a textual report on paper, the text view is your answer!
The paper describes the architecture that was used in building Jigsaw: the model-view-controller. It was relatively easy to understand how the components interact with each other. Definitely a fun read!
